About us
Ajmal Senior Secondary School, Kharupetia is an ideal institution set up by Ajmal Foundation to promote educational excellence to the aspiring students of Darrang District in particular and the entire North-East as a whole. It is a two hour drive from Guwahati city as well as from Tezpur. The institution was established on 7th July, 2010 in a spacious building with congenial classroom, well equipped laboratory and well stocked library facilities. The institution gives importance on activity based learning and continuous evaluation which are two primary facets of the teaching-learning process. Emphasis is given on co-curricular activities, personality development and constant career guidance. It is located 1.5 kms away from Kharupetia town and about 13 kms east of Mangaldai district head-quarter. The institution is located at a quiet & peaceful neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of town life. It is a full grown institute catering to the academic requirements of several thousands of students. With an ideal academic atmosphere and well experienced teaching staffs, the institute has already earned its name and fame and contributed its share in the educational scenario of Darrang district.
